84kW ASHP Hybrid Installation Opportunity

8th November 2021 – midnight 21st November

Sherborne Abbey, a Grade 1*listed building, is considering installing an hybrid air-source heat pump (ASHP) system and replacing the existing gas boiler, providing 84kW output from multiple ASHP units to provide heating for the building.

The work will require a contractor who has experience of this type of installation (particularly within church buildings) and of retrofitting mechanical plant and providing joint air source and hybrid controls.

Only those who have the requisite experience need apply.

Selection:
The selection of the successful contractor will be based on an objective assessment of the received quotes with a 33.3% weight given to cost, 33.3% to quality & experience and 33.3% to delivery.
